Owned four Lodgings houses in Spitalfields - Nos. 5, 56, 57 and 58 Flower and Dean Street with an address at Bancroft Road, Mile End. He would be seen in a beautiful chauffeur driven car in the early First World War years. Chauffeur wore a chocolate-coloured uniform and a Pomeranian dog would accompany them.1
