Stated as Naturalized Citizen by his father. 5'10 tall, medium complexion, grey eyes & light brown hair. Enlist in U.S. Army 1917. 1920 census again living with parents at 424 Bowdoin street, Boston. 1st July 1923 arrive at Liverpool on the 'Samaria' giving 27 Cannon Place, Brighton as visiting destination - (home of Aunt Rose Smith (Hall) nee Rees). Return to New York on the 'Tyrrhenia' from Southampton 6th September 1923. On 13th November 1923 traveled over from the USA on the 'Samaria' to Liverpool to marry cousin Rose Horton. Commited suicide age 35 at the time of the birth of his second son. Buried just behind Smith family plot at Marlow Road Jewish cemetery London. Left effects worth £20.00 to wife
